Private Label Agave Straws: What Buyers Should Know
If you're a distributor, foodservice brand, or hospitality group considering private label agave straws, here's what you actually need to know before requesting a quote — no vague "contact us for details" runaround.
What does private label mean here?
Your own packaging and branding on a standard agave fiber straw — not a custom straw formulation or a custom size. The straw itself is our standard production line: 21 cm (8.25 inches) long by 6 mm diameter, available wrapped or unwrapped.
What's the minimum order?
200 cases of 2,000 straws each — 400,000 straws total. This is a real minimum, not a marketing number, because it reflects an actual production run. If your volume is smaller than that, our in-stock case sizes (up to the 20,000-unit case) are available with no minimum, just without custom branding.
Can I get a different size?
The 21 cm x 6 mm straw is what we manufacture at scale, consistently and efficiently. Other sizes can be discussed, but they sit outside our standard production line, so lead times and minimums for a custom size would differ from the numbers on this page. If you need a non-standard size, say so upfront when you request a quote.
How long does production take?
Approximately 4 weeks from order confirmation to a private label order. Plan your reorder timeline around that lead time, especially for a first order while you're also finalizing packaging artwork.
Who is this for?
- Distributors who want to resell agave straws under their own brand
- Multi-location restaurant or hotel groups that want consistent branded packaging across locations
- Foodservice brands building a private label sustainability line
If your volume doesn't reach 200 cases yet, our in-stock case sizes let you start with the standard packaging now and move to private label once you're ordering at that scale.
Where are they made?
Mexico. Bamboorganic has been in business for 20 years, with 10 years of specific experience manufacturing agave fiber straws.
